Gardini Notes (97 points):
"The Novello vineyard, translated by whoever opens the window in the morning and finds it in front of them, represents the symbiosis between man and cru, with a stylistic, rigorous elegance. From the vine, a wine faithful to its birthplace, very neat and because of this, already very enjoyable. Flowery, juicy, and never widening, while instead extending thanks to a dense flavor. Flavorful and abundant tannins, but not too much."
Wine Spectator (95 points):
Awine offering cherry and strawberry fruit, with wild herbs underneath, mineral, a firm structure and long finish. It comes from nearly 7.5 acres planted to Lampia (60 percent) and Michet (40 percent) clones and vines 60 and 80 years old."
