Greg Sherwood (MW) (95-97 points):
"Quinta da Senhora da Ribeira is one of the classic riverside Douro Quintas and has belonged to Dow’s Port since 1890. Famous for being one of the two principal estates that make up the legendary Dow’s Vintage Ports, the Quinta is also renowned for producing magnificent Single Quinta Vintage Ports. The late-ripening Touriga Franca from the south-facing ‘Pedreira’ vineyards thrived in the warm harvest in 2018. The warmer conditions in 2018 are reflected in a much riper style of Quinta da Senhora da Ribeira Vintage Port with more muscular and generous black fruit flavours. This 2018 is true to form showing the extra palate tannin grip, endless layers of broody black and blueberry fruit concentration and a spicy liquid minerality on the long, distinguished finish. Lovely."

Vinhulen (95 points):
"Violet. Duften har sødmefulde røde bær med hindbærbolsjenuance, solbær og florale noter og After Eight. Rigtig sliklækker duft. Smagen er sødmefuld og fed med floral smag af viol, After Eight, solbær med flot syre, bid og saftighed. Smagen hænger godt ved ved både elegance og raffinement i fuld harmoni, fede og små rap fra tanninerne. Rigtig lækker port."

Galloni (94 poinst & "Superb"):
"The 2018 Quinta Senhora da Ribeira represents just 8% of the Quinta's production. It is more compact, a bit more standoffish compared to some of the other single quinta 2018s that I tasted. It gradually warms up, revealing marine notes, seaweed and oyster shells tincturing the black fruit. The palate is super-smooth on the entry with plush, saturated tannins, quite spicy and peppery with an assertive, structured finish that is quintessentially Dow's. Superb."
