Fine Wine Review (90-94 points):
"The nose features spicy red fruits. The mouth is round and pure with minerality and red currant and dark fruits that show the wildness of Gevrey. The finesse of the vintage shows through, too."
Burghound (89-91 points):
"Here the nose is decidedly earthier with notes of forest floor, humus and game adding breadth to the largely dark berry fruit-scented aromas. There is very fine volume to the rich, powerful and mouth coating flavors that terminate in a serious, youthfully austere and well-balanced finale. Despite being relatively tightly wound today there is so much sap that this could be drunk with pleasure young. Again, worth considering especially for value."
