International Wine Report (93 points):
"The 2012 Brunello di Montalcino is an excellent showing, which delivers inviting aromas of cherries and red plums woven together with dried spices, leather, with hints of eucalyptus and cedar. Medium to full-bodied and beautifully structured with fine, silky tannins, wonderful balance and an ultra-long, chewy finish. A classic style Brunello which should continue to evolve nicely with some additional bottle age. Best 2018-2030."
James Suckling (92 points):
"Intense aromas of incense and plums with wet earth. Some licorice, too. Medium to full body, firm and silky tannins and a fresh and clean finish. Try in 2018."
