"A much more restrained and earthier nose displays distinctly cool red currant and soft floral aromas. The big and overtly powerful but not massive broad-shouldered flavors exude plenty of minerality on the austere, long and ultra-serious finale. This is borderline old school in style and a wine that will also need plenty of cellaring to resolve the notably firm tannic spine."
"Ooh! – A brilliant wide and deep, dynamic fruity nose. Round, layered, melting layers of fruit. Another Corton winner from Pascal. Long. Just a great Corton – even if tasted after the CDR!"
