Galloni (91 points):
"The 2015 Bourgogne-Côtes d’Auxerre La Ronce, which comes from white-blue clay on Kimmeridgian limestone, is aged 18 months in barrel, including one-third new wood. It has much more fruit on the nose compared to the Corps de Garde: black cherries, raspberry and wild strawberry scents tinged with violet. The palate is well balanced, offering supple ripe raspberry and cranberry fruit, grippy tannin and noticeable density that seems to have gained weight in recent months. This is a deeply impressive and quite cerebral wine from Goisot."
Burgundy Report ("Pure gorgeousness!"):
"A more dense nose, flashes of fine, dark-red fruit, though a little sullen. Bigger volume again, fine density and an ingraining fruit flavour – very fine fruit. There is tannin, less bitterness and a more melting fruit flavour in the mid to finish. Gorgeous fruit in the finish – light and very floral. Just beautiful in the second half – pure gorgeousness."
