Robert Parker's Wine Advocate (91-93 points):
#The 2014 Gevrey Chambertin Vieilles Vignes from vines over 60-years-old, the most venerable just shy of a century (50% whole bunch and 50% new oak), has a lovely, floral, very pure bouquet that appears to have much more precision than the village cru at the moment. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy black and red fruit, orange sorbet coming through and defining a citrus-fresh finish. The oak will require several years to be assimilated, but there is persuasive focus and delineation here."
"Really deep colour. Faint reduction, an impression of CO2 and some flowers. Wide, a little mineral and saline. Lots of weight, power and complexity – bravo, on form, a really great finish."
