James Suckling (92 points):
"Rich, peach-custard aromas with spicy and nutty nuances. The palate has intense and weighty fruit with a good concentration of pears, apples and subtle minerals through the finish."
Jeb Dunnuck (91 points):
"Leading off the wines of this great estate, the 2017 Châteauneuf-du-Pape Blanc is primarily Clairette mixed with small amounts of Grenache Blanc and Bourboulenc, brought up 80% in tank and 20% in older barrels. This fresh, vibrant white gives up lots of salinity as well as notes of crushed citrus, leafy herbs, and an undeniable minerality. Medium-bodied, racy, and vibrant, it’s an outstanding white. Drink it over the coming 4-6 years."
