Syrahdruerne til Cornas'en kommer fra ca. 35 år gamle vinstokke på markerne "Patou", "Les Côtes" og "Saveaux". Efter høsten afstilkes druerne og gæres på ståltank, hvorefter vinen lagres 14 måneder på 2-5 år store 2-5 år gamle egetræsfade (demi muids).

"Bright and intense both in colour and in aroma. Hyper-fresh, searching berry fruits, this is electric. Rounded, with plump berry fruits that are concentrated and fresh. The tannins are intense too, grippy and strict on the long finish. This is almost painful to taste at this stage, but should be excellent in time."
