"This Morgon is compact and concentrated with quite a bit of smoky oak, but somehow it manages to be elegant and animating. I love the way the fruit and smoky-oak tannins interlock, driving the medium-bodied palate forward. The imposing finish is earthy, savory and moderately dry. From the foot of the Cote du Py site. Matured in 10-year-old, 350-liter barrels. Drinkable now but best from 2026."
