Vin beskrivelse

Druerne til Château Le Crock høstes manuelt og vinificeres traditionelt. Vinen er fremstillet på basis af 49% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot, 9% Cabernet Franc og 7% Petit Verdot og lagres på egetræsfade hvor ca. 1/3 er nye. Vinen tappes på flaske uden filtrering. Slottet har siden 1995 benyttet den berømte franske ønolog, Michel Rolland, som konsulent, hvilket har resulteret i flotte velafbalancerede og harmoniske vine.

Brought up in 30% new barrels, the 2020 Château Le Crock is one of the finest vintages I've tasted, offering a brilliant purity in its darker red and black fruits as well as notes of leather, tobacco, and earth. With medium to full body, ripe, polished tannins, and a great finish, it's one classy, elegant, layered Saint-Estèphe that's going to evolve for two decades. I love it
