Denne ultimative Barolo er det nyeste skud på stammen fra Cogno. Vinen kommer fra en udvalgt parcel i Ravera-marken med en lille klippe, hvor agerhønsene bygger rede. Vinen er udelukkende fremstillet på basis af Nebbiolo varianten "Lampia". Efter endt vinifikation lagres vinen 30 måneder på store slovenske egetræsfade og yderligere 18 måneder på flaske inden frigivelsen.

"Entirely from Nebbiolo Lampia, a more classic Barolo from this south-facing vineyard, the 2018 Barolo Ravera Bricco Pernice has aromas of red fruits, cocoa, fresh earth, and ripe berries. It is medium-bodied and long on the palate, with sweet, refined tannin and notes of dried apricot and spiced blood orange. Drink 2025-2040."
