Denne Beaune 1. cru kommer fra den sydlige ende af Beaune appellationen og ligger lige under den berømte Clos des Mouche mark. Den 0,36 ha store vinmark er beplantet med Pinot Noir vinstokke fra 1964.

"To the southern end of Beaune, just below Clos des Mouches. This is a generous creature with a velvety feel; good acidity and supple tannins give a warmish glow. I do like the southern Beaunes for their dynamic appeal and inviting character."

Burghound (89 points):
"A fresh, ripe and airy nose features notes of essence of red currant, raspberry and pretty spice and floral suggestions. The succulent, round and delicious flavors possess acceptable verve while offering reasonable depth and persistence on the supple finish. While there is enough structure to allow this to age gracefully over the mid-term, it should drink well almost immediately."
