"Brought up all in used oak, the 2021 Saint Joseph is deep purple and has an impressively ripe, rounded, medium to full-bodied style. Blackberries, blueberries, ground pepper, and some spicy, leathery notes all emerge on the nose, and it's textured, has ripe tannins, and a wonderful mid-palate. It's a clear standout in the vintage."
