Decanter (95 points):
"Ripe blackberry and black cherry yoghurt on the nose, flowing onto a palate characterised by ripe tannins and good acidity. It's concentrated but not massive, with a good sense of impact and focus and a long finish. The acidity really drives it forward. Alcohol is well balanced, and it's not overly oaked. There are some strict, chiselled Cornas tannins. Very classic."
Wine Spectator (94 points):
"Overachieves for the vintage, with savory power pushing through a well of black currant and blackberry, propped up by a beam of iron. Shows finely sculpted tannins that bring cut through the long finish. Delivers good density, with toasted apple wood smoke in the backdrop. Best from 2025 through 2035."
Jeb Dunnuck (92-94 points):
"The 2021 Cornas showed amazingly well, and it brings more ripeness and texture than just about every other Cornas out there. Ripe blackberries, mulberries, spicy herbs, and earth all emerge on the nose, and it's medium-bodied, with terrific mid-palate depth and ripe tannins. This cuvée comes from a mix of terroirs and will spend 14 months in used barrels."
