The 2022 Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru comes from a small piece owned in Le Charlemagne and another part on the Pernand side. It has a well-defined nose with yellow fruit, lemon curd, dried honey and touches of almond shavings. The palate is well-balanced with good weight and tension. There’s a lovely citrus undertow with a bright and quite complex finish. This is definitely one of the better Corton-Charlemagnes this vintage."
