Winehog (94-95 points):
"Les Murgers ’22 is monumental; the vineyard did very well in the vintage, and the Hospices de Nuits’ cuvée was one of the best wines at the auction – if not THE best. This has fantastic balance and intensity, and is a true vin d’émotion."
Burghound (91-93 points & "Outstanding"):
"Here too moderate wood sets off the spicier aromas of various red berries along with plenty of spice elements, in particular anise and clove. The richer, bigger-bodied and tautly muscular flavors possess a suave texture that contrasts with the impressively persistent and powerful finish that is youthfully austere while avoiding all but a trace of rusticity. This is also worth considering provided at least mid-term cellaring is envisioned."
