"A nicely elegant nose, especially for what this is, reflects notes of very pinot-like red berries, earth and a whiff of anise. The round and nicely vibrant middle weight flavors are built on their fruit while the refreshing finish exhibits sneaky good length. To enjoy for its fruit."

"This is a domaine wine which comes from the edge of the alluvial fan emerging from Lavaut Saint Jacques; more precisely, next to Platieres. The Vigne Blanche is destemmed, made with 30% new oak, and has lovely mid-palate energy. It also has a lovely hedonistic feel, and is my clear favourite of the generic wines from Tawse."
