"Here too there is just enough wood to notice surrounding the relatively elegant aromas of red cherry, currant and only a modicum of earth influence. Like the regular Nuits cuvée, the medium weight flavors are not particularly concentrated though they exude an almost aggressive minerality on the precise, moderately austere and built-to-age finale. Les Longecourts is almost always a cut above in terms of Nuits villages vineyards and this version will only add to its reputation. Warmly recommended provided you intend to cellar it for at least a few years."
