"Soft wood frames a more deeply pitched nose of various dark berries, newly turned humus-tinged earth and a whiff of the sauvage. The succulent and round medium weight flavors possess acceptable density before culminating in a youthfully austere, powerful and lingering finale. This is also quite good for a villages-level wine though it doesn't offer the refinement of the previous wines. With that said, and to be fair, En Pallud is never refined, indeed it's often decidedly rustic and robust."
