Denne berømte vinmark er placeret på den øvre del af Gevrey-Chambertin's Grand Cru bælte (over Route des Grand Crus), med Clos de Beze som nabo (og er den nordligste Crand Cru i Cotes de Nuits). Vinen har ligget 20 måneder på franske egetræsfade (9 måneder på 100% nye eg og 11 måneder på et år gamle fade). Vinen er er tappet uden hverken klaring eller filtrering.

"The 2023 Mazis-Chambertin Grand Cru, which includes 12% whole bunch, has a very finely poised bouquet that's floral, cohesive and complex in style. The palate is medium-bodied and fleshier than the Mazoyères, with supple tannins and crushed stone notes permeating the red fruit tones. It's not powerful but full of finesse. This is excellent."

"An elegant, airy and beautifully layered nose is spicier still with plenty of floral influence suffusing the mix of red and dark currant, anise and forest floor. The super-sleek and equally, if markedly denser, medium-bodied flavors exhibit excellent power on the sappy, balanced and wonderfully persistent finale that is unmistakably built to repay extended keeping. One to strongly consider."
