Robert Parkers Wine Advocate (96 points):
"The top-of-the-range white 2024 Selección Albilla is only the third vintage of this cuvée, which aims for minerality and complexity but with added finesse and elegance. It's a blend of 60% Albilla from limestone and gravel soils from the plot at the winery and 40% Albilla from granite soils from a plot they call Edu. It fermented in 600-liter barrels and 750- and 1,000-liter foudres, where the wine matured for 11 months. It has lower alcohol than the previous vintage, only 12.15%. But it shows a little more creaminess and is spicy and serious but with better integration of the oak than in previous vintages, developing some yeasty, bready notes. The palate has more tension to hold the complexity and depth, coming through as really balanced, with pungent flavors, citrus acidity and symmetry. It's designed for the long haul and will be better if you wait a few years. 3,900 bottles produced."
