"The 2024 Riesling Leiwener Laurentiuslay Alte Reben is from one of the steepest sites in Leiwen, on gray slate. This was picked in the core of the site from ungrafted, single-stake vines that are now over 100 years old. Ripe Reine Claude plums come with overtones of hayflower and wet stone on the nose. The palate is flow, harmony and concentrated, stony, lemony suppleness. This flows with exquisite juiciness and wonderful elongation."
