James Halliday (91 points):
"Matured in 30% new French oak. While its Gruyere sibling comes from the Lower Yarra Valley, Gladysdale comes from the cooler Upper Yarra and it shows. Smoky with obvious whole bunches adding mulch fragrance while a skein of sweet cherry and plums wraps around flavours of blood orange, woodsy, savoury spices, with tannins neatly in tow. A very different outcome to its sibling."
Robert Parkers Wine Advocate (91 points):
"The fruit for this 2019 Pinot Noir is from Gladysdale, in the Upper Yarra, and the wine is decidedly savory, supple and mouthfilling. It has blood plum, dehydrated orange zest and layers of cherries, cranberries and exotic spice, all of it weighted by back-plate density of flavor. Very good."
