"The wine has a slight copper/amber tinge to the colour. Rich, savoury although fine aromatics; cheesy, curved richness. Crystalline, dramatic acidity. Intense, tightly focused, rapier-like. Bitter orange, dried apricot, tangerine skins and a long core of smokiness. Incredibly long finish, fiercely focused. There's electricity in this wine. Umami notes. And it keeps changing in the glass. Peppery nasturtium petals, tight sour-orange citrus fruitthat drives with unrelenting precision across the palate and then suddenly stops and broadens into gentle hazelnuttiness. Challenging but incredibly exciting. This has got to be a good food wine."
