"The 2023 Saint Joseph Pierres D'Iserand is more rounded and soft, with both red and black fruits, lots of spice, and some savory flower notes. Made from 100% Syrah and aged 15 months in 500-liter barrels, it's medium to full-bodied and shows ripe yet building tannins. While more approachable than the Sainte Epine, it should nevertheless have 10-12 years of prime drinking."
