Vin beskrivelse

100% Savagnin (manual harvested). Nestled in the heart of a natural enclosure formed by the forest, this isolated plot offers a wild and unspoiled microclimate, providing exceptional freshness. Soil composed of 37% clay, 44% silt, and 5% limestone.

Vines aged between 60 to 70 years old, trained using the single Guyot method, from massal selections. Short pruning to concentrate the grapes. Grass cover every other row to promote soil biodiversity.

Alcoholic fermentation in steel tanks with indigenous yeasts. Malolactic fermentation in barrels. Aged 100% in old barrels (topped up). Unfiltered.

In 2024 1.800 bottles was produced.

"The inaugural 2024 L'Étoile Clos de la Colinette is made from Chardonnay grown in a single vineyard with a north-facing aspect and clay-rich sandy soils. Intense lemon flesh, grapefruit, yellow apple and a hint of pastry rise from the glass. The medium-bodied palate displays elevated flavor concentration and culminates with subtle tension on the energetic close."
