"I loved the 2020 Calendal, an incredibly complex, medium to full-bodied, seamless 2020 that does everything right. Red and blue fruits, ground pepper, violets, and incense are just some of its nuances, and it has terrific tannin and a pure, balanced, incredibly satisfying style. The blend is 70% Grenache and 30% Mourvèdre, from a single vineyard planted in 1964 and 1968, that saw 20% new French oak. It's perfect for enjoying any time over the coming 7-8 years, and I suspect it will keep even longer."
