Galloni (91-93 points):
"From 80-year-old vines in the lower portion of the cru, close to Suchots and Echézeaux. Deep, bright ruby-red. Alluring aromas of crushed strawberry, spices, fresh blood and soil, plus a hint of smoky new oak. Like liquid silk in the mouth but quite youthfully reserved and not at all overly sweet. In fact, this is surprisingly closed after the spectacular nose but shows terrific energy to its black cherry and raspberry fruit. Finishes with firm, ripe tannins and excellent length"
