"The 2019 Champagne Special Club is 100% Chardonnay from a mix of vineyards and pours a bright silver-yellow hue. The nose offers white pineapple, salted lime, and fresh pastry dough, with excellent focus and intensity. Medium-bodied, it is compact and long, with vertical drive, stony chalkiness, and a pinpoint mousse bringing additional definition to the palate. The balance between intensity and freshness is terrific, and the haunting finish lingers impressively. Drink 2027-2042."
