"One of the finest vintages ever for this team, the 2019 Côtes Du Rhône Villages Plan De Dieu is the standard 70% Grenache and 30% Mourvèdre, destemmed and aged nine months in 20% new French oak. Liquid Provence, it has a gorgeous bouquet of garrigue, lavender, kirsch, blackberries, and ground pepper. Full-bodied, ripe, and concentrated on the palate, I love its tannins, and it has a great mid-palate, no hard edges, and is just a gorgeous wine all around. Drink it over the coming decade."
