"Always a beautiful white that readers should buy, the 2025 Châteauneuf Du Pape Blanc is an equal-parts blend of Roussanne, Grenache Blanc, Clairette, and Bourboulenc from clay and limestone soils. Ripe stone fruits, honeyed white flowers, blanched almond, and hints of pear all shine on the nose. Brought up for nine months in a mix of concrete egg, stainless steel, and one- and two-year-old barrels, it's medium to full-bodied, with a round, supple mouthfeel, terrific purity and precision, and a great finish. Drink 2026-2032."
