"All old-vine Grenache planted in 1905, the 2024 Châteauneuf Du Pape Sanctus Sanctorum is ruby/garnet-hued and offers a kaleidoscope-like array of kirsch liqueur, graphite, smoked garrigue, blueberries, and Provençal spices, all framed by beautifully subtle wood. Aged 16 months in new demi-muids, it's medium to full-bodied, focused, seamless, layered, and elegant, with a multi-dimensional mouthfeel, incredibly polished tannins, and a blockbuster finish. You won't find many wines that bring this level of intensity and power paired with so much finesse and elegance. Give it 3-4 years in the cellar and enjoy bottles over the following 20+ years. There are just 800 magnums produced. Drink 2030-2050."
